The rules for using the platform.

Agreement

By creating an account on Revy's Tech Journey, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account. Revtek IT Solutions LLC, operating as Revtek, runs the platform.

Your account

You need an account to access most of the platform. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity under your account. Notify us at support@revystechjourney.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

One account per person. Sharing accounts is not allowed. CTE classroom codes are an exception: those are designed for shared classroom access under a teacher's supervision.

You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are 13 to 17, we recommend a parent or guardian help you set up.

Acceptable use

Use the platform for personal learning, classroom learning, or professional development. Do not:

• Scrape, copy, or republish content from the platform.
• Resell or redistribute access (including selling logins, sharing accounts, or running cohort access without a Classroom License).
• Attempt to circumvent paywalls or daily limits.
• Use the platform to harass, threaten, or abuse other users or staff.
• Submit malicious code, attempt to compromise platform security, or interfere with other users.
• Use the platform to violate any applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. For severe violations we may also report to law enforcement.

Subscription tiers and pricing

Free. Always free. Full Study Mode and Flashcards on every live track, one full Adventure lesson on every track, 5 Sim tickets per day, and one free Practice Exam attempt per track (lifetime). No credit card required.

Pro. $24 per month or $240 per year. Unlimited access across all study surfaces. Auto-renews at the start of each billing cycle until cancelled.

Academy. $49 per month or $490 per year. Solo-learner tier. Everything in Pro plus the paced Academy plan and curriculum browser. Download files are available only when the product labels them available; complete lesson and answer-key coverage is still being provisioned. Auto-renews until cancelled.

Teacher. $149 per month or $1490 per year. Educator tier. Your own Pro-equivalent learning access plus 30 student seats, the classroom dashboard, code-based student join, and curriculum browsing across every live track. Complete download artifacts remain under provisioning. Seat-pack add-ons require a separately eligible paid Teacher subscription.

Lifetime. One-time payment. Tiered scarcity pricing as documented on the pricing page. Includes Pro-equivalent access plus all current and future certification tracks at no extra cost for the lifetime of the platform.

Billing and renewals

All charges are in U.S. dollars and processed by Stripe. Sales tax may apply based on your billing address.

Paid subscriptions auto-renew. Pro, Academy, and Teacher renew at the start of each billing cycle until cancelled. Lifetime is a one-time payment and does not renew.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, we retry and email you. After multiple failures, the account drops to the Free tier. Your data is preserved.

Price changes. Subscription pricing may change. Existing subscribers keep their current price for at least 12 months after any increase. Lifetime is locked at the tier you bought into.

Cancellation

You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account settings. One click. There is no phone call, no retention email, and no multi-step exit flow.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep paid access until the period ends, and the account drops to the Free tier automatically. Cancellation does not delete the account or server-backed learning history. Flashcard ratings and in-progress decks remain only in the browser where you studied and are removed if that browser's site data is cleared.

Refunds

The Free tier is the evaluation period. It is always available and includes unlimited Study and Flashcards, one full Adventure lesson on every live track, 5 Sim tickets per day, and one Practice Exam attempt per cert track. Test every surface before you pay.

Paid billing periods are non-refundable. Once a billing period starts on Pro, Academy, or Lifetime, that period is not refunded. We do not pro-rate or refund partial months. Your access continues until the period ends and then the account moves to Free. Refund requests for billing mistakes are covered in the next section.

Teacher tier and classroom seat packs. Teacher annual licenses and classroom seat packs are refundable within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, refunds are prorated against unused months in the academic year. Districts with negotiated PO terms follow the refund clause in their MSA. If you need a different arrangement, email support@revystechjourney.com before you purchase and we can usually accommodate.

Mistaken signup

If you were charged by mistake (you did not intend to subscribe, you signed up while testing the platform, you misread the upgrade flow), email support@revystechjourney.com within 7 days of the first charge.

Mistaken signups are reviewed case-by-case. Legitimate accidents are refunded. This window is for the first charge on a new subscription. It does not apply to renewals or to billing cycles you intended to start.

Content and ownership

Our content. Lessons, scenarios, quiz questions, flashcard decks, simulator tickets, Revy character, branding, and platform code are owned by Revtek IT Solutions LLC. You get a personal, non-transferable license to access this content for learning purposes while your account is active.

Your content. Anything you produce on the platform (Sim ticket attempts, articulation notes, profile info, Discord messages) belongs to you. By posting in shared spaces (Discord, Trinity Mastered Hall) you grant us a license to display that content as part of the community feature.

Feedback. If you send us suggestions, bug reports, or feature requests, we can use that feedback freely without owing you compensation or attribution.

Trademarks. Revtek, Revy, Revy's Tech Journey, and related marks are trademarks of Revtek IT Solutions LLC. CompTIA, A+, Network+, Security+, and CySA+ are trademarks of CompTIA. Other product names are property of their respective owners.

Certification claims

Revy's Tech Journey prepares you for certification exams and teaches job-relevant skills. Currently live: CompTIA A+ (220-1201 and 220-1202), CompTIA Network+ (N10-009), and CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701). We do not issue official CompTIA certifications. To earn an A+, Net+, Sec+, or any other certification, you must take and pass the official exam from the issuing body.

Our Mastery Index summarizes correctness across RTJ quiz and practice-exam questions, weighted to the published exam blueprint. The evidence-quality label describes how much practice supports the number. Full-length Practice Exam results are reported separately and do not blend into the index. The index is internal and uncalibrated. It is not a pass prediction, guarantee, validated cutoff, or instruction to schedule. You are responsible for deciding when to take the official exam.

Discord community

If you join our Discord, you agree to its rules in addition to these terms. Be respectful. No spam. No solicitation. No selling of cert dumps or pirated content. Discord moderators may remove messages or members at their discretion.

Termination

You can close your account at any time from Settings.

We can suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, for non-payment, or if we decide to wind down the platform entirely. Any wind-down notice, data export, and unused prepaid balance handling will follow the capabilities, reviewed policy, purchase terms, and applicable law in effect at that time. A perpetual offline export is not implemented today.

Warranties and disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free content, or fitness for a particular purpose. Cert exam content is based on the published exam objectives at the time of writing and may not reflect the most recent exam revisions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revtek IT Solutions LLC's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

Before filing a legal claim, please email support@revystechjourney.com so we can try to resolve the issue directly. Most disputes can be handled with a quick conversation.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service changes or when laws change. Material changes will be announced via email and on the dashboard at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
