01Why is Lifetime tiered?+
Because honest scarcity is real and fake scarcity is not. I bootstrap this thing. The first 5 people who buy in actually fund the next few months of development, so I sell their access at $200 to thank them. After the first 5, the price moves to $300 for the next 25 buyers, then $400 for the next 100, then settles at $500. Same product, less risk for the buyer because I have shipped more by then. The $500 ceiling is roughly two years of Pro at retail. No timers. No fake reset. The price moves up when each bracket sells out.
02What happens if I cancel Pro?+
Your account drops to the Free tier at the end of the billing period. Your flashcard streak, Adventure progress, and Study history all stay. You keep one Practice Exam per month and five Sim tickets per day. We do not delete your data, we do not lock you out, we do not gate anything you have already finished.
03Do you offer student or educator discounts?+
Yes. If you have a .edu address, email support@revystechjourney.com and we knock 30 percent off Pro for 12 months. Educators using the platform with a class get free Pro for themselves and a class license for students at cost. We do not advertise it because it gets abused, but ask and you get it.
04Is Lifetime really lifetime, or just "as long as the company exists"?+
It is lifetime of the product as long as we keep operating it. If Revtek shuts the doors, Lifetime holders get a perpetual local-export of every track they had access to and a final six months of cloud features. We put that in writing in the Lifetime receipt email.
05Will future cert tracks really be free on Lifetime?+
Yes. Net+, Sec+, Linux+, CCNA, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), MS-900. When we ship them, they are inside your Lifetime account at no extra cost. Pro subscribers get them too, but they keep paying $24 a month. Lifetime stops paying after the purchase.
06Is this endorsed by CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, etc.?+
No. Revy's Tech Journey is an independent training resource. We build around publicly available exam objectives plus the actual experience of running a helpdesk. Cert names belong to their respective owners and we are not affiliated.
07What kinds of payments do you accept?+
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay through Stripe. Annual Pro and Lifetime can be invoiced if your employer pays. Email support@revystechjourney.com with the PO.
08Can my employer pay for this?+
Yes. Pro and Lifetime are both common L&D expenses. We will send a tax-friendly invoice in your name or the company's name. If they need a VPAT or a SOC-2 letter, ask and we send the current ones.
09Is there a free trial of Pro?+
No, because the Free tier is the trial. Study and flashcards are unlimited. You get a Practice Exam every month, you get five Sim tickets every day, you get the first Adventure chapter. If that is not enough signal, Pro probably is not the right next step.
10Do you train an AI on my activity?+
No. We do not sell your data, we do not train models on what you study, we do not send your progress to anyone. Aggregate "how long does it take a typical learner to hit 80 percent Readiness" stats are anonymized. The privacy policy spells out every join.
