Practice Exam

Know if you're ready before you book.

Full-length, timed, Pearson VUE-style practice exams with honest scoring. The Readiness Score tells you when you should book the real exam, and when you should keep studying.

What it is.

Real exam format

90 questions, 90 minutes, no inline feedback, exam-quality questions. Matches the actual CompTIA exam interface so the real test isn't your first time seeing it.

Real time pressure

Timer ticks down. You can mark questions for review. You learn how to pace yourself across 90 questions without burning out at question 60.

Honest readiness score

The Readiness Score isn't a participation trophy. If you get a 65, it'll tell you to keep studying. The goal is for you to pass on the first try, not feel good about a fake number.

How it works.

  1. 01

    Take a full-length

Pick Core 1 or Core 2. Set aside 90 minutes. No interruptions. The exam plays just like the real one.

  2. 02

    See the breakdown

Score plus a per-domain breakdown. You see exactly where you're strong and where the weak spots are.

  3. 03

    Drill the weak domains

One click sends you back to flashcards and quiz questions filtered to the topics you missed.

  4. 04

    Retake until ready

Aim for 80%+ across multiple attempts before scheduling the real exam. Most learners need 2 to 4 full-length attempts.

Is Practice Exam free?+

Free tier gets one practice exam per month. Pro and Lifetime unlock unlimited attempts.

How accurate is the Readiness Score?+

Calibrated against actual exam pass rates. Hitting 80%+ consistently means most learners pass on the first try. The score is conservative on purpose - we'd rather you over-study by a week than fail by two questions.

Can I see which questions I got wrong?+

Yes, after the exam. Full explanation, link to the relevant flashcards, recommended Adventure scenes to revisit.

How many practice exams are there?+

The pool is large enough that you won't see the same question twice in a 90-question run, even after multiple attempts.
