Bring an offline disk back online with diskpart
Recover a disk that shows as Offline in Disk Management by listing the disks, selecting the offline one, and bringing it online with diskpart. This page teaches a job procedure. These are not exam questions, this is not a score predictor, and nothing here is taken from any certification exam.

Steps

Run list disk and find the disk whose Status is Offline (Disk 1 here).

Run select disk 1 to set focus to the offline disk; diskpart confirms it is the selected disk.

Run online disk to clear the offline state; diskpart reports it successfully onlined the selected disk.
What you should see
list disk shows Disk 1 as Offline, select disk 1 confirms the selection, and online disk reports the disk was successfully onlined.
